Twister Sheets Are Bright And Colorful Just Like The Game
|
Twister sheets are modeled after the retro game Twister. The sheet sets are white, and they have large circles arranged in rows in colors of green, yellow, blue, and red. There are other variations of twister sheets, such as the Rainbow Hop Scotch Twister twin sheet set of three pieces that is made of microfiber. It consists of a flat sheet, twin size fitted sheet, and a pillow case. Instead of having the four rows of round circles in green, yellow, blue, and red like the traditional twister sheets, this one has adjoining squares of many colors arranged on the sheet. There are squares of blue, green, yellow, purple, orange, and red. The square blocks are approximately 1.5 inches on all sides. Anyone looking for a special gift for a young person may want to buy the Twister the Game twin sheet set. This set of twister sheets is sold complete with a spinner to play Twister on the sheets. The set includes a twin flat sheet, twin fitted sheet, and one pillowcase. It is 180 thread count that is a blend of 55% polyester and 45% cotton. It is made in the original Twister game style. Another sheet set that is very similar to twister sheets is called Happy Dot Twin sheet set by Kukunest. This set shouts out cheerfulness and fun, and would be ideal for any kid’s room. It has a white background with circles arranged in horizontal rows. The circles are smaller than those on twister sheets, and they are in many colors such as aqua, orange, pink, blue, lime green, olive green, and various shades of pink and red. It is made to fit a twin bed. The set has one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and one standard size pillowcase. It is a percale sheet that is 200 thread count cotton. It is machine washable and dryable, and it would be an adorable addition to any little boy’s or girl’s room. Older girls would love it as well.
A similar variation of twister sheets is a Twister Expression full size sheet set – Fun Circle Pattern. This sheet has a white background with continual rows of circles that are smaller than those on traditional twister sheets. Each small circle of hot pink, lime green, and turquoise is outlined with a coordinating color to make it even brighter. The pillow case and flat sheet have a lime green border to complete this bright, neon sheet set. It is made by Wamsutta and is a cotton blend. Unfortunately, this style is no longer made by Wamsutta and this set is sold on an auction site. Apparently the company once made extra-long twin size sheets, the size that is normally used in college dorms because there are a few sets of these that can be found online. Another twister sheet is featured on this same website, but only in a twin flat size. It would be simple to make a set of sheets by purchasing a solid color fitted sheet in white or even in one of the colors of the dots in blue, green, yellow, or red. A solid color pillow case could be added to complete the set. There are also “naughty” sets of twister sheets that are modeled after the game, but in an adult way. There are handprints and footprints in various positions on a white background on the fitted sheet. In addition, there are various colored marks for players’ bottoms. Everything is numbered, and the players may end up in some odd place on the sheets. Twister sheets are designed for fun and are almost always purchased for children or teens because of their bright, cheerful colors. They can be used for any size mattress if they can be found online or in a store. |
